Why does the app ask for access to all files?

Cache folders, leftover APK files, large videos and duplicate photos are spread across your storage. Android only lets an app see and remove them with “All files access”. The app reads file names, sizes and locations on the phone; it does not upload your files. Without the permission the cleaning tools cannot run, but Battery Analyzer and the Wi-Fi check still work.

Why does a Wi-Fi check need location permission?

Since Android 10, apps can scan for Wi-Fi networks only after you allow location. The app uses the permission for that scan alone: it does not determine or record where you are, and it does not send network names anywhere.

Will the app delete something without asking?

No. Every scan ends with a list. Only the files you tick are removed, and only after you confirm. Deleted files usually cannot be restored, so look through photos and downloads before you confirm.

What does the antivirus send to the internet?

With your agreement, package names, signatures and hashes of installed apps and APK files go to Trustlook’s cloud scanner to be compared with known threats. Photos, documents and other personal files are not sent. If you say no, the antivirus stays off and the rest of the app works as usual.

Why do I get notifications about junk?

The app checks storage in the background from time to time and lets you know when there is something to clean. To turn this off, open Android Settings → Apps → Supernova – Cleanup & Antivirus → Notifications.

How do I stop personalised ads?

In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland the app asks for consent before showing personalised ads. Anywhere, you can reset your advertising ID or turn off ad personalisation in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path depends on the phone).

How do I remove the app and my data?

Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the phone, including your choices. The app has no accounts, so there is no profile to close. For data held by us or our providers, see your rights in the Privacy Policy or write to us.

Which phones are supported?

Android 7.0 or later, installed from Google Play.
