Legal
Terms of Use
Applies from 22 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and MUZA TECHNOLOGIES s.r.o. (Kaprova 42/14, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic) about using Supernova – Cleanup & Antivirus (“the app”) and this website. By installing or using the app you accept them. The licence for the app itself is described in the separate End User License Agreement; how the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Part A. Using the app
- What you get. A set of tools for Android that finds unneeded files, checks installed apps and APK files for known threats, rates nearby Wi-Fi networks and shows battery information. The app is free to download from Google Play and has no paid features.
- Deletion is your call. The app proposes files to remove; it removes only the files you select and confirm. Deleted files usually cannot be recovered. Before you confirm, check the list, especially for photos, documents and downloads you may still need, and keep backups of anything important.
- Permissions. Some tools work only with the permissions Android asks you to grant, such as access to all files, notifications or location for Wi-Fi scans. You can refuse or revoke them in Android settings; the tools that depend on them will then stop working.
- Fair use. Do not use the app to break the law, to interfere with other people’s devices or networks, or to probe Wi-Fi networks you have no right to test. Do not try to get around its security, overload the services it relies on or extract its code beyond what the law allows.
Part B. Ads and outside services
- Ads. Versions of the app may show ads supplied by Google. Ads are third-party content; we do not endorse what is advertised, and any purchase you make through an ad is between you and the advertiser.
- The antivirus depends on Trustlook. Threat detection uses Trustlook’s cloud service, only after you agree. Its verdicts reflect what is known when you scan: no antivirus finds every threat, and a clean result is not a guarantee that a device or file is safe.
- Google Play. Downloads, updates and refunds go through Google Play under Google’s terms. Google is not responsible for the app or for these terms.
Part C. When things go wrong
- Changes and availability. We may update the app, add or remove tools, or stop offering it. We try to keep it working but cannot promise that it will run without interruption or errors on every device and Android version.
- No warranty beyond the law. The app is provided free and “as is”. As far as the law allows, we give no warranty that it suits a particular purpose, removes a particular amount of data or detects every threat.
- Limits on liability. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profit or indirect loss caused by using the app, including files you chose to delete. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that consumer law does not allow us to exclude.
- Ending use. You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may block use that breaks rule 4.
- Changes to these terms. If we change these terms, we publish the new text here with a new date. Changes that matter to you apply to versions of the app released after the change.
- Law and courts. Czech law applies, without its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the courts of Prague. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
